These are interesting times.
The Aristocracy running the USA also owns most of the major media channels and are in an all out war against democracy so as to protect their vested interest in the hoards of wealth they've accumulated over the past 10+ years by outsourcing our jobs, changing our laws, not reinvesting in our country, pilfering the middle class with controlled increases in Gas, Insurance, Health-care, and of course.....loosing 60% of our cumulative national real estate equity.
It's no wonder they have such hatred of any movement which counters this self-destructive direction. Their only weapon and defense is money, which buys all the fear, hatred, stench, rumors, naivity, Super PACs, and brainwashing political infomercials such as the 23+ Republican Primary Debates held so far....
I'm not a socialist, nor am I anti-capitalist....but the first course in Business I took at the University of Santa Clara, (yes...at the cradle of US American Technology companies and of some very classical rock bands)...was entitled "Business & Society". What they burned into us fledgling Business Students was....SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY!!
In other words REINVEST in your employees, your communities, your state, your country. Why? Because it all comes back to making the US A BETTER PLACE for everyone. Too many of our business & political leaders have been brainwashed into elixir of immediate gratification.
The "It's all about me" attitude and "screw any idiot that gets in my way" philosophy.
Long term wealth comes with long term growth, sweat, and generosity, not to mention honor, decency, and benevolence. Greed should not be the only driving factor of Capitalism. We need to do things right, respect our fellow countrymen, and invest in our children's future, and as a nation I know we all know that I am right.
